1. How do I get started?

Contact me to arrange a 30 minute free introduction appointment. The purpose of this conversation is to get to know each other, to discuss what you would like guidance with, how I might be able to help you and to give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. We can then determine whether we both feel that we are a good “fit” for working together and, if yes, which pricing package would suit your needs best.

  2. How long & how often?

This really depends on what your needs are, what your timeline is and which package you choose. A typical one-on-one session lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour, but there will be follow-up information and an action plan with work to be done, by you, in between the sessions.

  3. Where?

You can choose between face to face and online guidance sessions, or a combination of the two. I only offer face to face coaching in Luxembourg.

  4. Is it confidential?

Our sessions are entirely confidential. Whilst I encourage you to involve your parents/carers as much as possible in the decision making process and I find parental input valuable, I will only share information with or seek information from your parents/carers if you give me permission to do so.

  5. What happens in a session?

Of course this depends on what you are seeking help with – you may have a clear idea of what you want and just need a little bit of guidance, you may want help with a specific issue such as reviewing a university application or you may be totally lost and have no idea what, where or how to take the next steps!

However, in a typical session, I will help you figure out options that best reflect your skills, talents, personality, values and passion. We will set goals and have an action plan to help you achieve your academic and personal aspirations. Coaching in this way will help you think for yourself and help you develop your capability and confidence in your own abilities and strengths. This will be beneficial in many areas of decision making going forward in your life.

  6. What happens between sessions?

After each session I will email you a detailed summary of what we discussed, some information you may find useful and your action points to work on before the next session. Between the sessions you are welcome to email me with any follow up questions or concerns, we can even have a quick check-in call if you need some extra support. Your action points will set the agenda for the next session where we can discuss what you have done since the last session, how you are feeling and the way forward.

The length of time between the sessions will depend on your issue, your deadlines and how much work you do between the sessions. I am flexible with timings and am here to support you, and not add to your stress! So if you are in an exam period we can take a break so you can study, but if a deadline is looming we can meet more often.

  7. Will you tell me what to do?

Only you are responsible for your life and the actions you decide to take. I won’t tell you what to do or direct you in one particular direction! I will support you and guide you to discover where your strengths and skills lie, what your values and passions are, and which areas you could work on to reach your goals. I will ultimately help you to generate well thought through ideas and options to lead to a successful and meaningful life after school.

  8. How much does it cost?

Please see here for pricing packages.
