I offer one-to-one sessions providing information, advice, guidance and coaching during key points in a student’s secondary/high school journey. There are certain transition moments, such as choosing what to study age 16 and what to do after school, where big decisions are being made and this period can be stressful and over-whelming.
As a registered career development professional, I will help you focus on yourself and encourage you to take ownership of your future by discovering and reflecting on your skills, strengths, values and passions so that you can identify your purpose, fulfil your potential and pursue a meaningful life.
I can help with:
choosing your GCSEs;
choosing your A Levels, or alternative post-16 options;
exploring what to study at university and where;
identifying your skills, strengths, attitudes and values to discover suitable post-secondary options;
researching post-secondary options and possibilities;
considering and developing the fundamental skills, attitudes and extra curricular activities critical for successful university applications;
the university application process (personal statements and interview skills);
learning about and preparing you for the world of work;
creating and developing action plans and providing support during this exciting, but challenging, period.
